The DART Blue Line Expansion from the Downtown Garland Light Rail Station to a new Downtown Rowlett station is an important economic engine that will help drive development in the Rowlett area.
DART Project Goals:
Schedule
DART’s schedule goal is to have the design, construction and testing of the Rowlett Blue Line completed for revenue service in December 2012.
Budget
DART’s budget goal is to have the Rowlett Blue Line completed within the budget.
Quality
DART’s quality goal is for the project to be designed and constructed in such a manner as to represent the same high standard of quality that is evident throughout the existing DART LRT system.
